Getting To Know Each Other

Is a long-term contract required for our cleaning services?

No. All of our services are provided as needed to suit your busy lifestyle. We do not require long-term contracts or obligations.

Are you insured?

Yes. First Home Cleaning is fully insured with 1,000,000 liability insurance all in order to protect your home or facility and give you the best peace of mind.

What should I expect on my first appointment?

A team of cleaners will arrive to your home or office equipped with all the cleaning supplies and equipment needed to thoroughly clean your home. The first appointment generally takes the longest as we need time to get used to the new environment and make a plan for cleaning it.

Will I have the same cleaning person on each visit?

Yes. We make sure to assign the same cleaning professionals for each visit – and know the importance of having someone you can trust cleaning your home.

Scheduling Questions

Do I need to be home on the day of cleaning?

Not necessarily. Some customers want to schedule cleaning while they are at work or away for the day and others want to be home. It is fully up to you.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

The best thing you can do is straighten up the place as much as possible. This way, the cleaners coming in your home or office can focus on dusting, mopping and everything instead of reorganizing things or asking you where to put what.

How will you enter my home on my scheduled days of cleaning?

We will leave this up to you and whatever you feel comfortable with. Generally, we work with clients giving us keys, leaving their keys under a doormat or giving us the code to the garage.

Can I skip or reschedule an appointment?

If you need to change the time of your cleaning appointment, we require a 24 hour notice in advance. Alternatively, we can move your visit to another more convenient time or cancel it altogether.

Cleaning Questions

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Equipment, materials and staff cleaning all of your rooms is included in a standard cleaning. You can also request extra items through your dashboard.

Are you getting the supplies and equipment?

Yes, our team provides all the supplies and equipment and is responsible for all of them.

What services do you offer?

You can navigate to our Services page and explore all of the services that we provide for residential and commercial clients.

How many cleaners do you send?

This depends on the client, area and needs. Typically, only one to two cleaners are sent to your home. If you are on a recurring schedule, we will make sure to match you with the same person.

Is your crew of cleaners screened?

Absolutely. We make sure to screen each cleaner in a process which includes a background check, in-person interviews and reference checks. We also require experience in the field of house cleaning.

Payment Questions

How and when do I pay for my cleaning services?

We require payment at the time of service and accept almost all major credit cards, debit card payments and payments by check or cash. If you would like to pay prior to the cleaning, that is okay with us, too and you can pay for your cleaning online.

What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?

We offer a 24 hour guarantee for all of our services. You can simply give us a call within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area you are dissatisfied it at no additional costs.
